Hey not sure how any one would feel about this and it is very unlikely to happen as we just resigned him and he is a home grown talent but all that aside what would you think of a Jbo for Zajac deal?

I don't think Lou would I also don't think we have any cap problems but we need someone who can move the puck on the back end Zid hasn't been cutting it and Zajac is a great two way player but his production point wise has been lacking this year he can put up points but I would consider this trade but it was more so to get some talk going

The flames just are not there, not the way this team is built anyways. The effort is there and goo on thm for trying they just arent there. Mangement has to see i dont know they couldn't. The core to build around is Brodie, baertchi, wideman, hudler an cervenka, backland and ramo. It's not great but with the return we could get from the rest ofthe roster will help the team now and in the future. Giordano, bouwmeester, tanguay, kipper, iginla, glencross would bring back assets to help build. Go flames!

Doesn't really matter when you don't score. Fasth was pretty amazing.

Not sure you should be trolling a Flames board with an ID like that. 1 goal for Nuge this year.

Wish I knew how to post the video of that Legwand goal last night. Cut him a break he just got back from month off from a sprained MCL. Not the stone you Oiler fans should be throwing after last nights gem.

I actually like Zajac but I really didnt like that contract Lou signed with him. I did hear the Devils are one of the teams that would make a play for JBO if were available. If we lose to LA tonight & Monday & then get smashed by Detroit on Weds, well I think Flames will be an established bonafide early seller. Teams like Columbus & Oilers may be sellers too but they dont have the veteran pieces Flames do because they both are well into their rebuilds, where Flames are long overdue for major rebuilds. It'll be like $1.49 day at Kmart at the Dome. Bring your gun

Sure wish we had Lanny as GM. Now he would be a guy that would want to win a Cup & not worry about filling the building like Edwards & King want. Probably reason he isnt the GM now eh?

Neither Alberta team can seem to catch a break.

One guy steps up his game and another one slumps...why cant we just have everyone going the way they should? (frank). Pisses me off watching both of these teams.

I laughed for hours.

That was the absolute highlight of a brutal loss.

Yeah that was pretty amazing. I guess it cant get too much worse. Have Eberle & Hall in my hockey pool. In fact I had drafted Hall then I traded that (frank)ing Semin & Campbell(dmen get 2 points for a goal in this pool) for Eberle & Hodgson. Was all over that puppy & Im getting my a$$ just kicked on this deal
Whats the deal with Oilers. You can only blame the usual goats for so long, even the wonder kids are doing jackshight. I think Hall & Ebs will be good leaders but right now they arent ready to lead. They need to pull the trigger on a proven veteran leader to show the way. Problem is, one of richards untouchables are going to have to get this piece. I think if we combined the flames & Oilers rosters, we would have one Stanley Cup champion & one of the worst AHL teams. Talk about 2 teams on the oppsite side of the spectrum.

Just curious but a non troll question for Oiler fans. If Tambi finally got ofc his a $$ and made a big trade, what super kid.would you rather move? Personally I would move Hall. This question excludes Gagne.

Actually I would move Yapukov or RNH. Yapukov has the hands but that kid is lost & has no business playing in the NHL yet. He should be getting top line & top PP time in Oklahoma. Because of that & I think Oilers need to start to win more games now, he will get the quality return the Oil desperately need. RNH has the NHL skills now, but again because of immediate need, he's going to cause undue long term aggravating injuries & it this pace I see him as being Hemsky2. He needs to go to a team with veteran size & blend in & compliment with hw he does it best. Philly would be a perfect spot for him & even Boston & a Courturier or Seguin return with other pieces added in would be huge for the Oilers. But that kind of deal would take huge (frank)ing balls & ST's are like peewee marbles.

Sven sent down. Good move, he needs to play 18 minutes a night and get some confidence back. Backland in tonight,.

It would be Hall or Ebs. Both locked up long term and skill to spare.

Not a chance it's RNH. He's the future #1 C and would not be easy to replace.

Ebs. Sell high. Nuge #1 C. Hall is the heart of the team. Without him this team would REALLY suck. Yak I think would be the best sniper of all.

Personnally I wouldnt move any of them. Just creates another hole in the line up.

Agreed. He's been pretty invisible except for a cpl close missed scoring chances, since coming back from injury.

The Nuge should be shut down (shoulder is obviously still bothering him), but Oilers management doesn't have the stones to do the right thing.
